You may know by now that I’m slightly obsessed with Hart of Dixie, especially with the outfits. While Lemon’s are cute, Zoe’s are, of course, more my style, but like many a fashion mag or inspiration photo, I figured I’d never be able to find the looks in a plus size, let alone pull them off.

Imagine my surprise when I found the cutest blouse (in my size) on Gwynnie Bee that looked like it was straight from Zoe Hart’s closet. It is one of my favorite plus brands, Eloquii, and has all of the details needed to make a simple classic cool – beaded collar, standout buttons, soft, sheer material and perfect length. Paired with a pair of straight-leg black pants like these plus size Jag jeans, you’ll be hot in Bluebell or New York City with some simple accessories.
I tried it on and it fits perfectly! I’m picturing it with something like the above look. I’ve been craving a Rebecca Minkoff bag and fell in love with the Cupid satchel when I passed it in Nordstrom the other day, and the mint green color would give a great pop of color without taking away from the blouse.
I wanted to stay away from shoes that were too matchy, and the color blocked heels were perfect! Those were Gucci, incredibly pricey, and out of stock, but I found a really similar pair here.
Like the bag, the look calls for jewelry that can hold its on but not take over, so I think a stunning cocktail ring (and crazy affordable) from Aldo, and found similar earrings at Kohl’s – thank you Vera Wang!
Playing dress up is always fun, and capturing a look from a favorite celeb or show is a great way to try a new style, but my fellow plus size girls know that’s not always the easiest thing to do. I’m hoping to prove that it doesn’t have to be.
And as a quick note, if you want to give this top a try, Gwynnie Bee has extended their free 30-day trial membership,so add it to your virtual and real closet!

I love how you styled this blouse, those shoes are FANTASTIC!
Thanks Alison! That means the world to me – you inspired me to start showcasing fashion on my blog at all! PS – I found a similar pair of shoes by Rebecca Minkoff, but they’re low wedges = more comfy!
